How to Install dvifb software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

dvifb software package provides dvi viewer for framebuffer devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dvifb

dvifb is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dvifb package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dvifb *

You will get with dvifb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
